Robotron is a now defunct side-project of Alexandre ‘Zzzzra’ Lehmann. The sound is IDM/experimental oriented. This EP is a compilation of four tracks produced between 2000 and 2005 - hence the EP’s title.

Those tracks were first released through 2008 to 2009 on Minimal and Melodies Music label. Since its creation back in 2008 and to my knowledge, this label has never been able to pay its artists while keeping all the incomes for itself.
Last year, a dozen of those artists, including myself, decided to ask MMM’s distributor (Believe Digital) to pull out all our material from every webshop they are working with (including Beatport, Juno Download, Etc.).
So here’s those tracks again, now available for free on my own label Perso Records. No need to steal them anymore ! - Zzzzra

Track notes :

La Pente Fatale (Version Alternative) : Alternative version of a track released in 2008 on DeepInDub netlabel (‘Walking Spirits’ VA, did026).

Otium : I recently found this track on a DVDr full of dust. It was sitting there since fall 2007. I totally forgot about this one… There was another version of the track on this DVDr but this mix seemed to fit better with the other track from this EP.

Sans Retour : This track from early 2009 was first intended to be part of ‘Ala Ned Rex’ LP on DeepInDub netlabel (‘Ala Ned Rex’, did034). Finally I didn’t keep it because I already used the same bass on another (released) track called Ploum.

Hrönir : This 2008 track - unreleased yet - was supposed to be part of a Schall netlabel EP. Instead I choose to release four versions of the same track (‘Ekranoplan EP’, schall_024).

Autoroute : Bonus track from early 2008.
